The OT that prescribed the shower buddy has just rung to tell me that Sarah the mum of the 6 year old boy we hired SB to is delighted with the result. It has enabled her to get Homecare in as previously they would not come because Ashton needed to be lifted.
She described it to the OT “Life changing”.

I am the Mom to one beautiful son who has multiple special needs. Among his disabilities, he is completely non-ambulatory and depends on full care for all ADL’s. He is also quite tall and heavy and doesn’t support all of his own body weight. Aside from necessity, he absolutely LOVES taking his baths with the water splashing in his face. As his Mom, my desire to make him happy, safe, and comfortable has been my goal first and foremost throughout his life. However, due to his large size and low/high tone throughout his body, getting him into and out of the bathtub was becoming more and more of a challenge, especially out. We first learned about your product several months ago and as soon as I clicked over to your website, I knew this obstacle was about to be overcome! We ordered the Tubbuddy with Tilt through our local caseworker at the Department of Disablitites and Special Needs and it has truly exceeded all expectations. It fits perfectly in our small bathroom, is unbelievably easy to use, and most importantly, allows us to give our son one of the small pleasures in life most of us take for granted and that he loves so much without sacrificing our backs in the process. We are so grateful for you and your product that I had to write to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. We were considering reconstructing our shower inorder to make it into a roll in shower. It would have costed us well over $10,000. We found the showerbuddy and have been using it ever since. It has become a lifesaver for me and my spouse.

We love the product and our customers are great full when we show them a different option then an expensive remodel. We are now starting a rental program for customers who have a temporary disability, the nice thing about these chairs is that the cushion can be replaced easily and the whole chair assembles without any tools.

We operate an assisted living facility in the Los Angeles area. In the past we have used Shower chairs that we had to replace every 6 months. 5 months ago we purchased 4 Roll-inBuddy’s. Now, 5 months later the chairs are still like new with absolutely no wear and tear. At this pace I can’t imagine having to replace any of them anytime soon. The quality of the chairs are superb and I would recommend these chairs to anyone who is looking for an item that will last forever.

We have been using the Shower Buddy for a couple of months now and it has been an incredible tool! We use it for both my daughter, Cheryl, and our friend Mike who lives with us now.
By using this system we were able to make the existing shower area work instead of the costly modifications we had first planned on. Both Cheryl and Mike are in power chairs which could not get close to the shower area. This meant the care giver would have to lift and carry them several feet and then maneuver through the doorway of the shower closet to set him or her on the shower seat. Now with the Shower Buddy they can transfer in the bedroom and roll to the shower closet, dock and then slide into the shower. NO EXTRA LIFTING!!
With two users we had concerns about all the different CNA’s and care givers and if all of them would be able to use the system without incident. This proved to be a non issue even new CNA’s.
For Mike this was a double blessing because he can use the commode feature prior to showering. Transfers are difficult for him so rolling straight to the shower after using the bathroom is easier on everyone!
I would recommend this product to anyone presented with the problem a having to consider expensive bathroom renovations because the shower area is not accessible.

I just wanted to thank you both for the outstanding and expeditious service you have given me this past week. I received the Showerbuddy SB1 yesterday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised at the excellent packaging–no issues were found with the unit.
I went to the client’s home first thing this morning to set-up the Showerbuddy, and, although the instructions do not completely match the contents of the box, I had no problem figuring out how to safely assemble the unit. I did an in-service with the wife and one of the caregivers and they both caught on immediately. I just checked with the client and she has already given her husband a shower and couldn’t be more pleased!
The client is grateful, I’m grateful; it’s all good. Check that, it’s great!!! Thanks for giving me a completely different experience in this industry than the one to which I am all too often accustomed. In other words, thanks for caring.

I have just seen a showerbuddy – WOW, I wish I had one of these available to me when my husband Malcolm had cancer. We both suffered when he couldn’t lift his legs over the shower threshold in our home and I couldn’t afford the costs or time involved in a remodel of our bathroom. How could we manage a remodel anyway with only 1 bathroom when the problems occurred. We suffered. If you are in a similar situation to me and your loved one needs access to the bathroom DO NOT hesitate, I can see huge benefits in these chairs. I wish I had my time over again, one of these chairs would have helped so much.
